Description:
Lead Political Action Committee (PAC) operations and support federal and state Government Affairs efforts.Design and execute strategies to expand the PAC, ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, manage day-to-day PAC operations, and collaborate with internal and external partners.12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Communications, Public Policy, or related field, or 10 years related experience with a master's degree in these fields.
Responsibilities:
• Work with executive leaders and consultants to develop and implement strategies to increase employee engagement and expand participation in the Gilead PAC. • Prepare meeting agendas, performance reports, KPI dashboards and recommendations on marketing, fundraising and disbursement strategies for the Gilead PAC Board. • Manage day-to-day PAC operations, including overseeing donor database, disbursements, governance, and vendors. • Supervise PAC budget, track expenditures and direct engagement with financial institutions. • Prepare and file relevant compliance materials, including FEC and applicable state reports; collaborate with legal partners and outside counsel to ensure adherence to campaign-finance, pay-to-play, and ethics rules. • Represent Gilead PAC at political events and fundraisers (may require travel and evening/weekend availability).
Qualifications:
• 12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Communications, Public Policy, or related field, or 10 years related experience with a master's degree in these fields. • 6–8+ years in PAC management, political compliance, or campaign/committee operations (corporate PAC experience preferred). • Experience collaborating with federal/state lobbying teams and aligning PAC giving with corporate policy priorities. • Knowledge of FEC regulations and state/local campaign-finance rules; proficiency with PAC databases and reporting tools. • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to exercise sound judgment in dynamic political environments.
