Description:
Communications ManagerPlan and coordinate communications strategies for research launches, announcements, and major initiatives across Ai2. Translate research and technical work into compelling stories for broader audiences across social media, blog posts, and other digital channels.Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and coordinate communications strategies for research launches, announcements, and major initiatives across Ai2.
• Translate research and technical work into compelling stories for broader audiences across social media, blog posts, and other digital channels.
• Draft social media content, including threads and posts that help bring Ai2 research into the broader AI conversation.
• Write and edit blog posts and other written communications that highlight Ai2 research and perspectives.
• Work closely with researchers, program managers, and project teams to understand upcoming work and identify opportunities for effective communication.
• Support media and PR efforts.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate complex or technical ideas clearly and engagingly.
• Experience creating multimedia content for digital platforms.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills with a proven track record of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Curiosity about artificial intelligence and the ability to quickly learn and understand technical topics.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with researchers, technical teams, and cross-functional partners.
