Description:
Boeing’s Global Spectrum Management team is seeking a highly qualified **Defense Spectrum Policy Lead** to support the development, coordination, and implementation of advocacy efforts related to the Company’s telecommunications and radio frequency spectrum policy interests in Arlington, VA.- Advocate on behalf of the Company’s telecommunications and spectrum policy issues before U.S. government agencies, such as the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the National Telecommunications and Information Agency (NTIA), as well as in international and intergovernmental organizations, trade, and industry associations- Bachelor’s degree or higher - 3+ years of experience in Government Relations/Diplomacy, Public Affairs, and/or Issue Advocacy - English language proficiency (reading and writing)
Responsibilities:
• - Advocate on behalf of the Company’s telecommunications and spectrum policy issues before U.S. government agencies, such as the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the National Telecommunications and Information Agency (NTIA), as well as in international and intergovernmental organizations, trade, and industry associations • - Establish and maintain close contact with internal business partners, engineering, and program leaders to understand their regulatory and policy requirements • - Write concise internal memos, external regulatory filings, and presentations to internal and external executive-level audiences • - Translate complex technical issues for non-technical audiences • - Work collaboratively across all groups within the organization, responding to requests for support in a timely manner • - Advocate on behalf of Boeing spectrum initiatives across a range of defense, aviation, commercial space, and aviation projects
Qualifications:
• - Bachelor’s degree or higher • - 3+ years of experience in Government Relations/Diplomacy, Public Affairs, and/or Issue Advocacy • - English language proficiency (reading and writing)
