Description:
Government Affairs professional to join Salesforce’s EMEA Government Affairs team.Government Relations Strategy, Stakeholder Engagement, Policy Discussions, Business development, Internal Collaboration10+ years of relevant work experience in government, industry, consulting, think-tank, or similar, focused on policy or political work, preferably technology-related.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive government relations strategy in close coordination with the local leadership team that aligns with Salesforce’s business objectives in Nordics & BeNeLux.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key government officials, policymakers, and industry associations to advocate for Salesforce’s interests.
• Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments that could impact Salesforce’s operations in Nordics & BeNeLux.
• Support the local business development strategy in developing business opportunities with central and local governments, and supporting engagement with key stakeholders in the private sector.
• Work closely with internal teams, including legal, public relations, marketing to ensure a coordinated approach to government and external affairs.
Qualifications:
• Active network among key policymakers and the digital ecosystem in Nordics & BeNeLux.
• Strong understanding of tech policy issues, including privacy, security, AI, data, and trade.
• Embracing Salesforce’s values of trust, customer success, innovation, and equality.
• Ability to write and speak fluently in English and Dutch. Ability to speak Swedish, Norwegian, Danish or Finnish would be a plus.
