Description:
Develop Google’s perspectives on public policy around AI and other emerging technologies and serve as the GAPP issue experts on emerging tech policy.Help drive Google’s AI public policy agenda, assess and develop positions on AI regulatory files and other AI policy at the federal and state levels in the U.S.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, 10 years of experience working on technology policy issues within government, think tanks, public interest groups, law, or relevant industry associations.
Responsibilities:
• Help drive Google’s AI public policy agenda
• Assess and develop positions on AI regulatory files and other AI policy at the federal and state levels in the U.S.
• Work with internal teams to get cross-functional input and support for our public policy positions, and to advise on public policy developments
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 10 years of experience working on technology policy issues within government, think tanks, public interest groups, law, or relevant industry associations
• 10 years of experience in policy analysis and campaigns, working on technology issues or the policy environments that surround them
