Description:
Represent the company in legislative and regulatory matters and provide comprehensive support to the Director, Federal Affairs, and the Head of Public Affairs, NA, in advancing Syngenta’s interests through effective engagement with government officials, agencies, and industry stakeholders.Drive policy outcomes that align with Syngenta’s strategic objectives. Assist in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry associations, and advocacy groups.A bachelor’s degree in government, public administration, political science, or related field from an accredited institution. 5 years of proven experience working in a public affairs function or a public relations function.
Responsibilities:
• Drive policy outcomes that align with Syngenta’s strategic objectives.
• Assist in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry associations, and advocacy groups.
• Analyze policy developments and conduct relevant research.
• Monitor legislative activity at the federal and state levels, tracking bills and amendments relevant to Syngenta’s interests.
Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in government, public administration, political science, or related field from an accredited institution.
• 5 years of proven experience working in a public affairs function or a public relations function.
• Experience developing and working with coalitions of interested stakeholders to achieve desired results.
• Experience advocating before and working with Congress and the Executive Agencies.
