Description:
The Office of Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand seeks a Director of Scheduling to manage the her daily and long-term schedules in DC and New York. This person will report to the Deputy Chief of Staff, supervise two staffers and an outside security vendor, and be responsible for the coordination and execution of the Senator’s schedule.
Responsibilities:
Duties will include, but are not limited to: evaluating scheduling requests; reviewing all schedules, logistics and briefs for accuracy and clarity; working with internal stakeholders on long term schedule and planning; working across departments for input on scheduling priorities; resolving conflicts and making last minute changes as needed; and handling special correspondence and special projects as directed.
Qualifications:
Experience in scheduling or advance for an elected official or campaign required. Management experience and prior Hill experience preferred.
