Description:
The Office of Congressman Bill Foster seeks an organized, detail-oriented, and responsible individual with previous scheduling experience to serve as Scheduler in our Washington, D.C. office.
Responsibilities:
Managing and maintaining the Congressman's daily and long-term schedule in D.C, organizing and tracking invitations, arranging travel for the Representative and for staff traveling on official business, keeping the Congressman on schedule throughout the day, collecting and processing the Member's expenses, compiling necessary materials for the Member's engagements and performing other duties as required.
Qualifications:
This is not an entry level position; it requires someone who is able to be on call and available to assist the Member after regular business hours. Capitol Hill and/or executive assistant experience is preferred. The ideal candidate would be detail-oriented, able to juggle multiple tasks at once, have excellent interpersonal skills, be a problem solver and be able to handle last minute changes to the Member's schedule.
