Description:
Representative Judy Chu seeks a Legislative Assistant to handle an active legislative portfolio including tax policy and other issue areas.
Responsibilities:
Preparing for and staffing committee hearings and markups, developing and advancing legislation and policy priorities, performing research and making recommendations to the Member, and representing the Member in meetings and at events.
Qualifications:
Excellent writing and communications skills, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, sense of humor, and value good relationships with colleagues.
