Description:
Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) seeks a full-time Staff Assistant to serve in his District Office in Aurora, Colorado. The annual salary of this position is $50,000. Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include managing the front desk of a fast-paced congressional office,
greeting visitors in a professional and courteous manner, answering and logging incoming
phone calls, overseeing the district internship program, drafting official correspondence
on behalf of the Congressman, and staffing outreach events. Additionally, this position will
work closely with the District Director and the Director of Constituent Services to assist
with other day-to-day tasks and administrative duties.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates will have a self-starting attitude, exceptional attention to detail, and
the ability to manage multiple projects at once. Strong written and verbal communication
skills, sound judgment, and a constant willingness to learn and grow are essential.
Knowledge of Colorado’s 6th Congressional District is strongly preferred.
