Description:
Rep. Brad Schneider seeks an experienced Senior Foreign Policy Advisor to advise on foreign policy, craft and implement positions, and communicate with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Managing the Member's work related to foreign affairs, developing and nurturing relationships with outside stakeholders, preparing and staffing the Member for meetings, recommending and organizing briefings, representing the Member in meetings and correspondence, building and maintaining positive personal relationships, tracking legislation and other developments, building support for the Member's policy priorities, drafting legislation, letters, and other written material.
Qualifications:
At least 4 years of legislative experience on Capitol Hill or comparable advocacy experience working on foreign affairs policy issues.
