Description:
Interns will work in a fast-paced environment as part of a hardworking team dedicated to serving the people of Southwest Washington.
Responsibilities:
Answering phone calls, leading Capitol tours (in DC), attending briefings and hearings, drafting constituent correspondence, conducting legislative research, compiling press clips, assisting with various administrative tasks, helping staff community events and conducting community outreach (in Vancouver).
Qualifications:
Candidates should have an interest in community service, an ability to think critically and outside the box, and work well in a team environment.
