Description:
The Office of Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan (VA-04) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Press Intern to work in her Washington, DC office for the Fall 2026 term.
Responsibilities:
Drafting copy, designing graphics, and editing videos for traditional and digital media Compiling daily press clips Answering and screening phone calls Maintaining press lists Other tasks as assigned by the Communications Director or Press/Digital Assistant
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will have strong written communication skills, a working knowledge of graphic design software and best practices, and the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment. Candidates with Virginia ties are strongly encouraged to apply.
