Description:
The Office of Congressman Don Davis (NC-01) seeks an experienced Legislative Assistant in his Washington, D.C. office.
Responsibilities:
Preparing for and staffing committee hearings and markups, drafting legislation and amendments, writing talking points and memoranda, developing legislative strategy, and interacting with key constituent groups and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Applicants should have a demonstrated passion for agriculture, rural, and coastal policy issues. Successful candidates will be self-starters and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
