Description:
A progressive Democrat and senior member of the House Judiciary Committee seeks a Digital Director for the Washington, D.C. office.
Responsibilities:
Leading the Member's digital communications strategy across all platforms, drafting and publishing high-impact content, producing compelling graphics and multimedia content, clipping and packaging TV appearances, managing and updating the Member's official website, developing and executing targeted e-newsletters and franked communications, building and managing targeted audience lists, planning and executing SMS/text messaging campaigns and surveys, coordinating digital advertising strategy and placements, supporting direct mail programs, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and fluent in digital platforms and content production. The candidate should be a strong writer with sharp political instincts and the ability to operate quickly in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment. The ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across communications and legislative teams is essential. Prior congressional, campaign, or political communications experience, ties to Tennessee's 9th Congressional District, and experience with graphic design, photography, or video production are preferred.
