Description:
Congressman Jason Crow (CO-06) is seeking a motivated Constituent and Outreach Advocate for his Aurora office.
Responsibilities:
Monitoring casework trends to provide updates to the Member and District Director, Preparing incoming and outgoing constituent casework, Maintaining accurate and complete files on all assigned casework, Screening and monitoring cases to determine if referring the case to other government entities is appropriate, Answering casework correspondence, meets with constituents, and serves as a liaison with federal, state, and local authorities, Writing responses to constituent letters relating to casework, Attending community meetings to support public events, Building relationships with communities within their portfolio, Creating a plan for their outreach portfolios to continue and improve relationships between the Congressman's office and constituents and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Attention to Detail, Constituent / Stakeholder Service Driven, Interpersonal Skills, Teamwork, Written Communication, Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred, Prior experience working for federal, state, or local government, especially related to casework is preferred, Experience handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality is preferred, Background with military and/or veterans affairs, working with small, mid-size, and large businesses.
