Description:
The Office of Congressman Joe Neguse is seeking a self-starting and service-oriented Communications Fellow to work in their Washington, D.C. office for the Summer 2026 term.
Responsibilities:
Draft press releases, statements, remarks, and other written materials. Assist with the office's weekly newsletter. Maintain and regularly update press lists. Compile and distribute daily press clips. Support additional communications tasks as assigned by the Communications Director.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is an aspiring communications professional seeking hands-on experience. They are a strong writer with excellent attention to detail and the ability to translate complex policy and district issues into clear, accessible communications for a broad audience.
