Description:
Applications are now open for Congressman Cleaver's Summer 2026 D.C. Internship Program. The D.C. program allows interns to gain congressional experience while playing a key role in a legislative office.
Responsibilities:
sorting constituent mail, answering the phones, attending hearings and briefings, leading tours, drafting constituent response letters, assembling daily press clips, and assisting the legislative staff
Qualifications:
College students and recent college graduates are encouraged to apply. Qualified candidates will have strong written and interpersonal skills, a positive work ethic, and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
Instructions:
Applicants should submit a single PDF containing a one-page cover letter with intended start and end dates, a one-page resume, and a writing sample that is no more than 3 pages.
