Description:
The Office of Congresswoman Cherfilus-McCormick seeks a Staff Assistant / Driver to support the Member Office's operations efforts.
Responsibilities:
Manages the front office, answers and screens telephone calls, greets and screens visitors, provides staff-led tours, assists persons who have meetings with the Congresswoman or the staff, works closely with the Congresswoman's Scheduler, maintains literature regarding the district and House offices, purchases supplies, signs for deliveries, ensures that requests for assistance are directed to the appropriate staff member, documents visitor opinions, performs or coordinates administrative assignments with interns, performs special projects assigned by the Congresswoman or Chief of Staff, maintains a good working relationship with the Congresswoman, Chief of Staff, department staff, and constituents.
Qualifications:
Must possess a bachelor's degree, congressional experience, including internships, is preferred, a minimum of 2 years of related experience or training in public administration, project management, or hospitality is preferred.
