The anticipated base salary for this position is $80k to $100k and may also qualify for an annual incentive. This role is eligible for our extensive benefits package and generous paid time off including vacation, sick, and holidays. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors including the qualifications of the individual applicant, years of relevant experience for the role, level of education attained, and certifications and/or other licenses held. XPRIZE is a remote-first environment. All employees must be authorized to work in the United States and work from within the United States full-time.

Team Relations Manager, XPRIZE Accelerate Learning We operate across 5 areas of impact, including: Join XPRIZE to help create meaningful impact as we strive to empower humanity to achieve breakthroughs and architect a more equitable and abundant future for all. XPRIZE is seeking an experienced Team Relations Manager to play an integral role during the Team Recruitment phase of the Accelerate Learning Prize. This person will lead external communications with potential competing teams during the first year of the competition, become intimately familiar with the prize guidelines to answer inbound questions, and, in coordination with the internal team, answer technical questions about the prize. They will liaise with IT on implementation and customization of the Prize Operations Platform (POP) for team recruitment. They will develop high-quality recruitment status reports for the team and the sponsor. Contribute ideas to the team recruitment strategy, execute team outreach and recruitment webinars, and develop materials for team recruitment. Support the development and execution of the team recruitment strategy in coordination with the rest of the operations team and marketing Lead communication efforts with potential and future competing teams Communicate on complex technical topics related to education in collaboration with the rest of the operations team Develop materials for team recruitment, respond to team questions, and host webinars Assist in tracking and organizing inbound public comments on the competition Guidelines. Participate in relevant online community discussions to drive participation in the prize Identify and participate in industry events virtually and in-person, representing the prize to expand the ecosystem Organize and lead team recruitment calls and webinars Work closely with IT to customize XPRIZE’s online competition portal (Prize Operations Platform, aka “POP”) for team management, prize submissions, and judging Monitor and manage the team Slack channel Ensure alignment of team activities with competition guidelines and other competition documents Support other project management activities as needed

Qualifications:
• 4-6 years of relevant professional experience managing external communities, project management, competitions, and related projects • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent relevant experience • Experience managing or supporting projects in India or Sub-Saharan Africa • Experience with community management • Experience managing and customizing technology platforms • Direct experience and knowledge in the domain of education • Curious, motivated, and interested to learn more about the rapidly expanding world of education innovation • Ability to lead or co-lead senior-level meetings, webinars, workshops, etc. • Experience building and working with partner organizations and external communities • Excellent business and technical writing and professional verbal communication skills. • Excellent interpersonal skills and situational awareness • Ability to travel 15% of the time, domestically and internationally
