Description:
The National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) operates in a multifaceted environment that includes chain pharmacy executives, federal and state policymakers, supplier partners, media, and internal cross-functional departments.Oversee political program operations, coordinate grassroots advocacy campaigns, facilitate political fundraising education, ensure compliance, organize events, and monitor legislative developments.Bachelor’s degree in political science, public policy, government, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in political operations, PAC management, grassroots advocacy, legislative affairs, or trade association government relations.
Responsibilities:
• Develop lobbying priorities
• Prepare legislative materials
• Monitor congressional activity
• Represent NACDS externally
• Provide political analysis
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in political science, public policy, government, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in political operations, PAC management, grassroots advocacy, legislative affairs, or trade association government relations
