Description:
America’s Power is seeking an experienced policy professional to develop credible, objective analysis and advocacy materials used to support outreach to policymakers, third parties, and the media.Analyze federal and state legislation, regulations, and policies and their impact on the coal fleet and its supply chain. Prepare understandable advocacy and education materials — including, but not limited to, summaries of federal policies and their impacts — across a wide range of policy and technical issues.Exceptional analytical, verbal, and written communications skills. Critical thinker who is highly objective. Creative thinking is a strong plus.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze federal and state legislation, regulations, and policies and their impact on the coal fleet and its supply chain.
• Prepare understandable advocacy and education materials — including, but not limited to, summaries of federal policies and their impacts — across a wide range of policy and technical issues.
• Assist, as needed, in communicating America’s Power positions to policymakers and third parties.
• Work with legal counsel to provide legal analyses of legislation, regulations, and policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
