Responsibilities:
• Contribute to a successful government relations initiative in North America that aligns with the strategic priorities of Aristocrat Group and all of its business units.
• Direct the creation and implementation of government relations strategies for the Aristocrat Interactive business unit, concentrating on iLottery and iGaming operations and growth plans.
• Analyze and interpret existing and emerging government policies and their potential impact on the business.
• Represent Aristocrat Interactive, build networks, and advance business interests in industry and trade associations, as well as with other organizations and key collaborators.
• Cultivate and maintain collaborator relationships within Aristocrat Interactive and other Aristocrat teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of business needs, effective prioritization, and detailed reporting.
• Build relevant position papers and advocacy materials for briefing senior leadership.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or a related field, preferably in a corporate or association environment.
• Solid knowledge of policy development processes in North America and the capability to navigate complex legislative and regulatory environments.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining professional relationships with trade associations, elected officials, government agencies, and other collaborators.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex policy issues to diverse audiences, including executive levels.
• Ability to partner with business collaborators to understand strategic priorities, develop relevant plans, assess risks and opportunities, and provide mature counsel.
• High ethical standards, strong personal integrity, and a dedication to compliance and transparency in all interactions.
