Description:
The purpose of this position is to coordinate and execute the daily operations of programs to manage compliance risk and ensure regulatory compliance with state and federal insurance laws on a corporate and departmental basis.Perform office work directly related to management and regulatory compliance operations of the department and employer’s customers. Exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.Ability to maintain a professional attitude and demeanor at all times. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Superior organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
• Perform office work directly related to management and regulatory compliance operations of the department and employer’s customers.
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
• Develop, implement, and administer quality management programs to manage compliance risk and ensure regulatory compliance with state and federal insurance laws on a corporate and departmental basis.
• Circulate, monitor, and track compliance/regulatory literature and/or actionable items to appropriate areas as required.
• Provide status reports on regulatory compliance to the Regulatory AVP & Corporate Secretary at least every other week, and monthly status reports to Senior Management.
• Research and review state and federal legislation and regulations to provide summaries, in‑depth analysis, and evaluation of impacts on PLM products and administrative procedures.
Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Adept at coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
• Above‑average proficiency in MS Word, Access, and Excel.
• Comfortable learning new software and conducting internet research.
