Description:
The Digital Marketing & Social Media Specialist plays a key role in shaping Pennsylvania Lumbermens Mutual Insurance Company’s (PLM) digital presence, with a primary focus on social media strategy, content creation, and audience engagement.- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with PLM’s business and marketing objectives - Create and publish high-quality written, visual, and video content that educates audiences on industry topics, coverages, and risk management insights - Design and develop digital assets (graphics, templates, social visuals, and marketing collateral) to support marketing, sales, and internal department initiatives - Monitor and engage with audiences, fostering meaningful interactions with policyholders, prospects, and industry partners - Manage and optimize PLM’s social media platforms to increase engagement, promote educational content, and support lead generation efforts - Analyze performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions) and provide actionable recommendations to enhance campaign effectiveness - Support company branding initiatives by highlighting company culture, employees, and community involvement - Ensure all content adheres to brand standards, regulatory requirements, and industry compliance guidelines - Maintain comprehensive knowledge of company products, coverages, and industry trends to create accurate and impactful marketing materials - Represent the company at trade shows and industry events as needed- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field - 2–4 years of experience in social or digital marketing, preferably within B2B, insurance, or financial services - Proven experience managing corporate social media accounts with measurable results - Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills - Experience with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) - Proficiency in graphic design and/or video editing tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) preferred
