Description:
ICF is seeking an Energy Industry Specialist to assist with coordinating programs, projects, events, and activities focused on cybersecurity, energy security, and resilience planning with the U.S. Department of Energy.Coordinate activities between key stakeholders, support technical writing and communications, participate in DOE working groups, and manage logistics for meetings.Bachelor’s degree in energy policy, public policy, government, communications, economics, business, or a related field and 4+ years of experience in research, writing policy, and energy.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate activities between key stakeholders including DOE, other federal agencies, and the electric and oil & gas sector industry.
• Support technical writing and communications, including editing, reviewing, and formatting documents, and creating presentations and briefings.
• Participate in DOE working groups and collaborate on efforts across various DOE offices.
• Manage logistics for meetings, including taking effective meeting minutes, tracking milestones and priorities, and following up on meeting action items.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in energy policy, public policy, government, communications, economics, business, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in research, writing policy, and energy (i.e., infrastructure and markets such as electricity, natural gas, and/or petroleum).
