Description:
The Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press is hiring a mid-level attorney to take a lead role in the organization’s vibrant amicus brief practice.Drafting amicus briefs, working with local and outside counsel, coordinating with coalitions, participating in oral argument, and conducting trainings.Admitted to practice law in Washington, D.C. or eligible for admission, minimum of 5 years of litigation and advising experience, passion for protecting press freedom, self-directed litigation skills, strong leadership skills, outstanding legal research and writing skills, excellent public speaking and communication skills, sound judgment and professional integrity.
Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
• Admitted to practice law in Washington, D.C. or eligible for admission
• Minimum of 5 years of litigation and advising experience
