Description:
Lead the development and execution of MiniMed’s federal government affairs strategy.Lead the development and execution of MiniMed’s federal government affairs strategy. Partner with internal teams to align advocacy efforts with business objectives and drive strategic outcomes. Represent MiniMed before federal policymakers, trade associations, industry partners, and patient/provider organizations.Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of government affairs experience, or 8+ years with an advanced degree. 7+ years of experience managing people, programs, or projects.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and execution of MiniMed’s federal government affairs strategy.
• Partner with internal teams to align advocacy efforts with business objectives and drive strategic outcomes.
• Represent MiniMed before federal policymakers, trade associations, industry partners, and patient/provider organizations.
• Monitor and analyze legislative, regulatory, and political developments; provide timely insights and strategic recommendations.
• Identify and mitigate policy, political, and reputational risks.
• Collaborate across the Government Affairs function to support enterprise-wide U.S. strategies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of government affairs experience, or 8+ years with an advanced degree.
• 7+ years of experience managing people, programs, or projects.
• Advanced degree.
• Proven success developing and executing federal advocacy strategies aligned with business goals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex policy issues clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate complex political, regulatory, and business environments.
