Description:
Director, Corporate Communications ManagerManage a team of external communications professionals and less experienced managers dedicated to setting and implementing the external communication strategy by identifying and pursuing key opportunities that advance and protect the company’s reputation.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required. Degree in Marketing/Communications is preferred.
Responsibilities:
• Direct strategic, proactive external communication plans at the corporate level using traditional, social, and digital channels.
• Support external communications around the company’s major corporate events and in support of regulatory filings.
• Collaborate closely with key leaders and the Investor Relations team to ensure the company is best positioned externally.
• Support the development of messaging and external positioning for key sensitive and reputational issues, working closely with Legal and the business.
• Provide thought leadership on organizational initiatives and products/services pertaining to external communications and reputational management.
• Manage the performance of assigned professional staff and less experienced managers, coaching and guiding them.
Qualifications:
• 12–15 years of total work experience with at least 3–5 years of management experience preferred.
• Background in a philanthropic function preferred.
