Senior Policy Analyst, Economics and Trade

The U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission is hiring a Senior Policy Analyst to join the Economics and Trade team. We are looking for an individual with superior research, writing, and communications skills to prepare written and oral analyses and assessments of issues within the team’s portfolio, develop and plan Commission hearings, and research and draft portions of the Commission’s Annual Report. Experience managing projects, mentoring colleagues, and presenting research to public audiences is highly valued. The Economics and Trade Team contributes to the U.S.-China policy discussion in Washington by conducting forward-leaning research and analysis and serving as a trusted resource to Congress. The team's portfolio spans China’s domestic economy, financial system, and evolving policy and regulatory landscape, including IP rights, data security, food and product safety, energy, and technology development; China’s economic diplomacy and statecraft; U.S.-China bilateral trade and investment flows; China’s adherence to bilateral and multilateral agreements; export controls; and more.
