, staying abreast of the Senator’s schedule and helping him meet all commitments as efficiently as possible. Primary will include but are not limited to: driving the Senator in DC and for state events including on early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays; staffing the Senator in the Capitol complex; coordinating with office staff to manage the Senator’s involvement at events; compiling and delivering the Senator’s daily briefing materials; and serving as liaison between the Senator and office staff, facilitating timely communication and follow-up on priorities and requests. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, discretion, and strategic thinking, and is able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. Success in this role requires the ability to anticipate potential issues that may impact the schedule and priorities of the day, manage time effectively and remain solutions-oriented while responding to urgent requests.
