Description:
The Office of U.S. Senator Gary Peters seeks a highly motivated, detail oriented and resourceful Legislative Correspondent in the Washington, D.C. office to support the health, education, and labor portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Duties include processing and responding to constituent mail, conducting research, providing assistance to senior legislative staff, drafting memos for the Senator, and meeting with constituents and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Exceptional writing, communication, organizational skills, and professionalism are necessary. Michigan ties, previous Hill experience, proficiency in IQ, and a public policy background are preferred.
