Description:
Senator John Kennedy (R-La) seeks a Legislative Correspondent for his Washington, D.C. office. The portfolio includes health, education, labor, and welfare issues, and this position also supports appropriations work. A successful candidate will have strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Duties include but are not limited to drafting responses to constituents’ letters, maintaining and executing the office mail plan through IQ, and assisting the Legislative Assistant with policy research, drafting memos, and constituent meetings.
