Description:
Southeastern Republican Senator seeks a highly motivated, detail oriented, and resourceful Legislative Correspondent in the Washington, D.C. office to support a broad portfolio primarily focused on judiciary issues, including but not limited to, Second Amendment, immigration, intellectual property, and law enforcement in a fast-paced legislative office. Previous Hill experience, proficiency in IQ, and a public policy background are preferred.
Responsibilities:
Duties include processing and responding to constituent mail, conducting research, providing assistance to senior legislative staff, drafting memos for the Senator, and meeting with constituents and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Exceptional writing, communication, organizational skills and professionalism are necessary.
