U.S. The internship will run from June 1st to August 7th, 2026. Delaware ties are preferred.
Responsibilities:
Senator Chris Coons’ Washington, D.C. office is seeking applicants for a full-time or part-time press internship for summer 2026. Tasks will include tracking media clips, editing video/photo/audio, drafting press releases, and assisting members of the communications team with a wide range of projects.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be undergraduate or graduate students or recent graduates who can work at least 20 hours a week from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Prior internship experience in media, campaigns, or government is preferred. Experience with digital communications – including work with graphics and photo and video editing – is also strongly preferred. Our office offers paid internships to applicants with demonstrated financial need.
